It is with great sadness that we remember our dear friend and fellow Rotarian, Bill Haglund, who passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026. Bill was deeply involved in Rotary at both the district and club levels and exemplified the spirit of Service Above Self. Most notably, he played a key role in supporting the scholarship recipient program through Charities, Inc., helping ensure that students in need within Spring Branch ISD had the opportunity to pursue a college education. Bill’s contributions to Rotary and the broader community are sincerely appreciated, and he will be deeply missed.
President Genevieve, a member of the Speakers Committee of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, provided an update on the upcoming 2026 RodeoHouston, sharing highlights and key information related to the event.
