(C) Ride for Polio - Saturday, Oct.  19, 2024
Rotary Polio Month, END POLIO NOW!  Participate with "Ride for Polio Fundraiser". "The Global Eradication of Polio is Rotary's Promise to the Children of the World."  Memorial-Spring Branch along with the Rotary Club of Space Center and the International Fellowship of Motorcycling Rotarians are putting on a ride to raise funds to support Polio Plus. Should you wish to support this ride, contributions to Polio Plus can be made in the following ways:

2.Via Check, Check made payable to "The Rotary Foundation - Polio Plus"
3. Direct to Rotary at https://my.rotary.org/en/dontate

(C) Clothing Drive
 Nov. 1 -Dec. 13
  The holiday season is right around the corner!  And this means a flurry of activity in preparation for all that the holidays entail for you.
In anticipation of a busy holiday season, we are holding our semi-annual clothing drive this year from November 1st - December 13th.  This means that we will be collecting gently used men's and women's clothing during that time frame. Clothing will be delivered to Memorial Assistance Ministries’ (Memorial Assistance Ministries (MAM) Houston (mamhouston.org) that weekend (December 14-15th).
Donations must be in resalable condition.  They should be gently used and not stained.  Obviously, all clothing should be clean.  Women's dresses, business suits, slacks, blouses, and casual clothes; men's suits, slacks, business shirts and casual shirts, as well as ties, belts, scarves and purses.  Shoes which are in good condition and clean (not worn out).  Children's clothing is also accepted (in good condition and not stained). All clothes should be on hangers or bagged.

(C) Thanksgiving "Meal in A Bag" - week of Nov. 7-14
Memorial Spring Branch Rotary will be shopping for food for "Meal in A Bag" for families in need in our community. All meals will be donated to East Spring Banch Food Pantry. We need "shoppers" to help purchase the food week of Nov. 7-14.  The food will be given to families from 19 Spring Branch Schools (chosen by school counselors) and families we serve in the community for Thanksgiving.

(C) The Dictionary Project - September 27, 2024
Memorial Spring Branch Rotary provided 120 dictionaries to the Third graders at Bunker Hill Elementary School. Each student received a demonstration on how to use the dictionary and a Rotary bookmark with The Rotary 4-Way Test to share with their parents and friends. Fun "energetic day for all!
