The Memorial Spring Branch Rotary Club supports the students at Landrum Middle School http://lms.springbranchisd.com/ in Spring Branch Independent School District.   We host a lunch each grading period for students who have been selected by their teachers as the “Most Improved.”  Students are treated to a special lunch prepared by the culinary arts class and receive certificates of achievement.  Often these are the “middle of the road” students who receive little recognition and for whom a little encouragement makes a big difference.  It can keep them in school said the Landrum counselor.  MSB Rotary members sit with the students at the luncheon, share their stories and offer that encouragement.  A speaker is invited to each luncheon to talk about their career and answer student questions.
