Houston City Councilwoman Anne Clutterbuck (District C) was our guest speaker on September 9th. She shared her favorite memory from her city council experience which happens to be Rotary connected. She was the Houston Sister City representative when District 5890 traveled to Leipzig, Germany in the fall of 2009. She will treasure all the wonderful international visitors she has had the opportunity to meet while trying to keep our city running.
She has served as the Chair Budget Fiscal Affairs and Mayor Pro Tem. She discussed the 2012 Houston City budget issues and our long term pension concerns.
In closing, she urged citizens to pay attention to city elections. They can have a real Impact on your community.
