This week is the culmination of the work we began in January at the Visioning Event. Many of the actions are already in motion and some of the goals have already been achieved. At this Club Assembly, the Committee Chairs will be sharing their plans and introducing their committees for the upcoming year. Those few members who have not yet selected a committee will have the opportunity to join a committee.

What We Stand For in Our Community – our Values:

We develop leaders who foster the growth of a literate, diverse, tolerant community in Memorial-Spring Branch and in the world. We embrace and promote the Rotary motto of “Service above Self” and “The 4-way Test”, locally and internationally through networking, mentoring and community outreach programs. Our Goals and Actions are the foundation of all club activity and are rooted in Rotary’s “Five Avenues of Service”.
Our Club Goals:
- Increasing literacy in our local and global community through education/mentoring/tutoring
- Partnering with other entities to create opportunities and provide needed services to the local and global community.
- Providing leadership development in our local and global community
- Maintaining an inclusive and diverse membership in our club
- Providing our members and local community with a business networking and mentoring environment
Our Actions begin with Club Service:
Provide opportunities for club members to train themselves as leaders and practice “Service above Self ” and the “4 Way Test” in a local, immediate and supportive environment.
