On March 16th, Dr Deean L. Buford traced the history of Occupational Medicine, from Pliny the Elder and outlined a day in the life of an Occupational Doctor.
She received her medical training in Nashville after graduating from Duke University. She gave the club some travel tips that included staying in the best hotels available and keeping your shot records current. She reported that while there was reported progress on a vaccine for Malaria, none was yet approved by the FDA.
