Ambassador/Global Grant Applicants Sought

    Our district is now seeking candidates for the 2015-2016 Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial/Global Grant Scholarships.  Each Rotary Club in District 5890 may propose one post-graduate candidate for these competitive scholarships, for studies abroad (beginning no sooner than July 1, 2015) within one of Rotary's six "Areas of Focus".  Candidates that have a linear relationship to a Rotarian, as far back as grandparent, are not eligible for these scholarships.

    The application deadline is October 10, 2014, and the mandatory interviews will be held in Houston, Texas on November 8, 2014.  Application materials and more information are available on the District 5890 website, www.rotary5890.org.  Or, for further information, please contact Bill Haglund, if you have a possible candidate for our club to consider.
